Emergency Dispatch System

Lewis County, Tennessee Selects Emergency CallWorx® for Seamless Next Generation E9-1-1 and Dispatching System

Single Product Eliminates Three Disparate Legacy Systems

Madison, AL, February 23, 2009 - Emergency CallWorx (ECX) announced today that it has been selected by Lewis County, TN., to provide a multi-agency Next Generation E9-1-1, Mapping and Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) system. The browser-based product design enables Lewis County's law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies to receive and handle leading-edge telephony, wireless and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications.

Lewis County will be one of the first multi-agency Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) in the South East ready for Next Generation 9-1-1 telephony and communication standards. While NG9-1-1 standards require far greater integration between 9-1-1 telephony, Mapping and CAD, the ECX solution was developed from the ground up to combine those three traditionally disparate technologies. By providing a system that tightly integrates all these processes, ECX improves control and administration of the E9-1-1, emergency management and dispatch workflow while enhancing the speed and accuracy of emergency response.

Howard Moore, 9-1-1 Director at Lewis County said, "Our vision in Lewis County is to implement a state-of-the-art system that handles all types of calls, including NG911, VoIP, SMS text messaging or any new systems that may be developed in the future. Following a thorough evaluation of a number of systems judged on flexibility, quality and cost of ownership, we selected Emergency CallWorx as our vendor of choice because their system met our needs and expectations today and going forward."

"Emergency CallWorx is excited to partner with Lewis County to help them meet their goals and achieve their vision. Our selection by Lewis County also validates our vision of providing a seamless product that is easy-to-use and affordable to the smallest of PSAPs. This is proof that our industry-leading system architecture will lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and yield higher return on investment (ROI)," stated Craig Dollar, founder and CEO of Emergency CallWorx.

Located in Middle Tennessee, southwest of Nashville, Lewis County covers approximately 282 square miles and has a population of 11,500.
