Hitech to Offer Next Generation 9-1-1 from Emergency CallWorx
Madison, AL, February 10, 2009 - Emergency CallWorx (ECX) announced today that it has formed a strategic partnership with Hitech Systems, a leading provider of public safety software solutions. The partnership will provide Hitech with a Next Generation 9-1-1 and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution.
Next Generation 9-1-1, supporting new telephony and communication technologies, requires far greater integration between 9-1-1 telephony and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications than the decades-old integration provided by the original AT&T/NENA CAD interface standard.
